Avocado, Good Friend The Heart

avocadoAvocado (Persea Americana Mill) is a fat-rich fruit. In the avocado contains healthy fats, such as fatty acids monounsaturated oleic that are powerful antioxidants.

This fat helps lower LDL (bad cholesterol) and raise HDL (good cholesterol) which of course is necessary for heart health. In addition, the content of beta-carotene, chlorophyll, vitamin E and vitamin B complex, too good to be protective for health. That way, the fruit that comes from Central America and Mexico was able to suppress the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Eating large amounts of avocado proved a positive effect on cholesterol in the blood. In one study, those who suffer from hypercholesterolemia and avocado strict diet showed decreases in total cholesterol levels 17 percent of bad cholesterol and triglycerides are also a numberĀ  to 22 percent, and an increase in good cholesterol (HDL) 11 per cent. In addition to high-fat, avocados are also rich in folate, potassium, vitamins B, E, K, and fiber.
