Medical Foods

Some foods are so beneficial and positive health, which foods are called “medicine”, discover what they are and do not hesitate to add them in feeding the whole family.

Garlic
Star ingredient of the Mediterranean diet, contains sulfur compounds, such as “Allicin”, which prevent and fight infections. Rate also reduces blood sugar, blood pressure and risk of cancers.

Virgin Olive Oil
Its benefits are proven cardiovascular level, due to its richness in monounsaturated fats, oleic acid and vitamin E, increase the rate of good cholesterol and reduce the bad, and contributes to balance blood pressure.

Onion
Used to relieve and combat respiratory diseases, is also an anti-infective and anti-cancer food. Effective in raising good cholesterol and decrease bad, thereby preventing circulatory problems.

Coles
Their antioxidant properties make sprouts in the vegetable anticancer excellence.

Ginger
Fresh consumption has properties that stimulate the digestive process, favoring the absorption of nutrients, preventing flatulence and enabling an overall improvement of digestion. They emphasize its antidepressant effects, improves circulation and reduces inflammation that cause diseases such as “arthritis.”

Lemon
It has a substance called “terpenes” that turn on cancer. Thins the blood and increases the number of white blood cells which fight and prevent infection. No less important is its power diuretic and purifier, cleansing the body of toxins. It contains “flavonoids” very powerful antioxidant, which assist the immune system.

Pomelo
Its slightly bitter taste, it denotes the presence of substances that have detoxifying effects.
Great content in vitamin C and “lycopene” which offers effective protection against a variety of cancers.

Preventing Blood Clots
