How Reduce Blood Cholesterol Levels

Leek leaves (Allium porrum L., A. fistulosum L.) have been investigated, including the ability to lower hypercholesterolemia. In the study, which used mice given the leek leaf extract that amount equivalent to 10 g onion leaves / kg (body weight) / day for 60 days. The result was increasing levels of blood triglycerides and cholesterol rats.
